Restore purchases

  1. Open Wordstone and go to the Levels tab.
  2. Tap the gear at the top to open Settings.
  3. Tap Restore purchases and sign in with the Apple Account you bought with, if asked.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Choose Wordstone and tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Wordstone Pro keeps working until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Common questions

How do I restore Wordstone Pro or other purchases?

Open Settings in Wordstone (the gear at the top of the Levels tab) and tap Restore purchases. You can also tap Restore on the Pro screen. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

How do I cancel Wordstone Pro?

On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Wordstone and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, and only Apple can refund them. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I missed a day. Is my streak gone?

Not necessarily. A streak shield covers a missed day by itself, and when you come back the game offers to repair the streak with shards.

Why was my word not accepted?

Wordstone accepts English words of 3 to 15 letters from its word list. Proper nouns and abbreviations are not in it. If you think a common word is missing, email us and we will look at it.

How do I change my ad choices?

Where consent is required, the app's Settings shows Ad privacy choices. To change whether apps may track you, open iPhone Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. Wordstone Pro removes ads.

Why is there no sound?

Wordstone follows the silent switch on your device, so check that first. Sound, music and haptics each have their own switch in the app's Settings.

How do I turn off reminders?

In iPhone Settings, open Notifications, then Wordstone, and switch them off.

Is my progress saved if I change phones?

Progress is stored on your device and is included in your iPhone backup. Restoring a backup to a new iPhone brings it with you. Purchases can always be restored from the App Store.
